Temperature Screening Cameras at Kesgrave High School
Schools across the UK are taking steps towards creating an environment that ensures the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors with the use of Temperature Screening Thermal Cameras.
Schoolwatch® provided their Thermal Cameras to Kesgrave High School. They are pleased to have an additional tool in place that can help to detect an elevated temperature while keeping to social distancing practices and offering reassurance to parents.
Before delivery, the cameras were thoroughly tested, calibrated, set-up, and charged ready for use. Andrew Jenkins, Managing Director at Schoolwatch®, delivered these in person and provided full training along with a testing session to ensure accurate monitoring.
Kesgrave School opted for the handheld version of the cameras due to their portable and non-intrusive nature. The primary use case is to screen students arriving in the morning, as well as in reception and with the medical team.
These portable cameras are handheld or mounted on a tripod in various locations as required and make them a popular choice for schools with multiple access points and multiple uses for the cameras.
